- ➤ On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Champaign Fire and Equity & Engagement Departments worked in Edgebrook to install 28 smoke alarms in seven homes, test additional alarms, and honor Christian Sheehan's birthday legacy. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Tatman Home Renovations will close one northbound lane of Mattis Avenue between Alton Drive and Sheridan Road from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow for sanitary sewer repair in the 1700 block of Alton Drive, weather permitting. City of Champaign
- ➤ Chalmers Street between Third and Fourth Streets will be closed for construction at 310 Chalmers Street from Monday, March 30 until Friday, April 3, weather permitting, while local access and on-street parking remain available & through traffic is not allowed. City of Champaign
