- ➤ Neighborhood Services staff Jennifer Carlson and Brittanie McMullen and Advisory Board Member Ric Weibel attended the Feeding Champaign County Food Summit to discuss ways to boost food access and security for 28,000 residents. The summit brought local leaders together to find community solutions. City of Champaign
- ➤ Urbana and Champaign park districts with the Urbana Rotary Club will host a March for Peace on April 4 at 5:30 p.m. at King Park in Urbana and will march to Douglass Park in Champaign — where an exhibit and community speakers will honor Martin Luther King Jr. The Daily Illini

- ➤ A&R Services will close one westbound lane of Kirby Avenue (between Oak Street and Neil Street) to repair a storm sewer and patch pavement from Tuesday, Mar. 31 until Monday, Apr. 6. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the closure, weather permitting. City of Champaign
- ➤ Champaign officials issued an emergency order stopping retail liquor sales from 6 p.m. today until 2:30 a.m. Sunday after the Illini advanced to the Elite Eight — the order limits in-store sales and deliveries while allowing bars to serve drinks in approved containers. The Daily Illini
