- ➤ The CU Tango Music Festival is underway in Champaign-Urbana from April 3-6 and celebrates Argentine tango music, dance and culture. Today at 8:00 p.m., Urbana Dance Company will host a contemporary tango performance + the festival features a collaboration with Boneyard Arts Festival and Krannert Uncorked at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. - ➤ Champaign and Urbana will hold several yard waste collections for Spring 2025—Champaign Blue residents must put materials out by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 14 and May 19 while Orange residents do so on Monday, April 7 and May 12, and Urbana will collect curbside leaves during April 7-11.
