- ➤ GasBuddy's survey of 4,378 stations shows that Illinois gasoline prices dropped 6.2 cents to $3.33 per gallon this week—this marks a 6.8-cent decline from last month and a 57.1-cent drop since last year. Fuel prices ranged from $2.83 to $4.49 per gallon as part of a national trend in falling costs. WICS
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Village of Mahomet issued a boil order on Monday for residents on all of Ridgewood Road — and part of Turkey Farm Road, and officials placed notices on affected doors — promising to contact residents once the order is lifted. WCIA
- ➤ The city will launch a mental health response team by September using a co-responder model to handle calls involving mental or behavioral health issues. Champaign will spend $915k the first year & $617k each year afterward to cover staffing and logistics. WICS
