  • On Tuesday, April 22, Urbana high school students led an Earth Day cleanup by collecting trash at Blair and Carle Parks and around Urbana High School. They also installed a peace pole crafted by 50 to 60 students — marking their effort to improve the local environment.  WCIA

  • Film lovers gathered outside Virginia Theater on April 23 when the 26th annual Ebertfest opened with a screening of 'The Searchers' while local food trucks served food. The festival will show 12 films until April 26 and host Q&A panels with film experts after each screening.  WICS
