Champaign Police responded to the 200 block of Burr Oak Court on Sunday, June 8 at 10:19 p.m. after reports of a shooting where a 13-year-old with life-threatening injuries and a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the hand were transported for treatment—officers noted damage to a building and a vehicle and are canvassing the area for witnesses.

Champaign Police responded to gunfire at 10:38 p.m. on June 7 near Giboney Street and Tower Street when a 21-year-old man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds after unknown assailants fired on his vehicle in an alley near Clock Street — police continue to investigate and ask locals with surveillance cameras to contact them.
