- ➤ Nearly 1,000 visitors came to Urbana's Crystal Lake Park Aquatic Center (the city's popular pool) Saturday as extreme heat drove families outdoors, and facility manager (Max Katz) advised applying sunscreen hourly, drinking water regularly, and watching young children to avoid heat-related illnesses.
