ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Andrew Ward, 35, of Allerton was killed in a crash at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 5 near Urbana at 1600 E and Old Church Road — he was pronounced dead just before 6 p.m. and the accident is under investigation by Illinois State Police and the Champaign County Coroner’s Office —. WAND
- ➤ A Champaign County Sheriff's deputy was in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Florida Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in Urbana on August 7 at 4:14 a.m. and was taken to a local hospital where the deputy is in serious but stable condition—Urbana Police are investigating the crash. WICS
