- ➤ Bud & Rita’s, an approved Forsyth cannabis dispensary, is preparing for a soft opening next week—awaiting final details from METRC before opening its doors and planning a grand opening on Sept 20. - ➤ Teasdale Latin Foods in Champaign has been in a contract dispute for 12 weeks as union BCTGM Local 1 filed new charges on August 18 for withholding key bargaining information and using regressive practices since April 11—company CEO Tim O'Connor said the firm remains committed to negotiations despite reportedly backtracking on proposals. At the Hoopeston facility, a weekend fumigation led picketers to keep their distance after pest control used strong gases, and the union warned against any strike retaliation. WICS
