- ➤ Officials at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana have started cutting services due to staffing issues and plan to shift some operations to Danville Sacred Heart Medical Center pending a final decision next month by the Illinois Health and Services Review Board. The proposal includes moving the operating room and intensive care unit by the end of August and, if approved, will set changes to begin January 1, 2026—while community members stress the need to keep vital hospital services available in the region.
