- ➤ On Tuesday, the Champaign Fire Department put out a fire at Black Dog Smoke and Ale House on North Chestnut Street caused by a cooking accident—no one was hurt and the restaurant closed for a few days while food was moved to its Urbana location and supplies donated to Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
