- ➤ A GasBuddy survey of 4,378 stations shows that Illinois’ average gasoline price dropped by 0.5 cents per gallon to $3.43 in the past week, though prices remain 1.1 cents and 2.4 cents higher than last month and a year ago respectively—rates ranged from $2.82 at the cheapest station to $4.79 at the most expensive.
